Occasionally, I will assemble a showcase website for some of the more high-end properties offering high resolution shots and virtual walkthroughs. Sometimes they are done in Flash, other times in HTML5/JavaScript. I took over an existing Flash-based map kiosk system. I added updates to existing map as well as a system for future updates to be done through a fairly simple spreadsheet export to XML. Prior to the release of Xbox One, concepts were being built to test out possible new interfaces to use for this system. Using Flash and AS3, I built a concept that ran directly on the Xbox showing thousands of videos and many other planned features. The Flash driven demo also integrated the Kinect for voice and motion commands. Prior to the release of Xbox One, concepts were being built to test out possible new interfaces to use for this system. A large game project called Swibbish. This game was almost completely back-end driven allowing registered users to see each other’s activities in real time as well as being able to close the session and resume the game at a later point. I handled all aspects of this game's development, front, back and design until its alpha version. It has been further redesigned and developed since then. A large game project called Swibbish. I handled most of the Flash needs including banners, micro-sites and presentations. I also handled some of the design tasks that were not always Flash related. MTV Created a small Flash based game for the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards named Moonman Gotham Grab. PBS Helped to create a site called Mootube, a 2-week viral campaign to promote Texas Ranch House. I handled the scripting and assembly of the site, with some minor design work. PBS KIDS Created several kid-friendly animated banner ads. DISNEY Created code-ready illustrations for a Flash game promoting Disney’s Phil of the Future movie. NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Several unusual banners that had to change based on an XML file so they would display different content on different hosting websites. SMITHSONIAN NMAI An extensive Flash based online art gallery that showcased hundreds of extremely large images of NW native art. I handled most aspects of the site’s creation. EXCLUSIVE RESORTS I was one of a two person team who built an extensive database driven website where the client had the ability to easily change any aspect of the site through a custom admin tool. It involved heavy scripting, and moderate design. CASEY Created an educational resource for teachers and counselors. I handled every aspect except design. CABLE IN THE CLASSROOM Created a code heavy educational game with an XML back end using existing design assets. Show less

I don't have dates for work done prior to 2004. The following list covers from 1998 to 2004 MICROSOFT Project: Created Flash based training animations for CD distribution. I was responsible for every aspect of the project. This project was unusual since it was a CD based delivery and didn’t have web related restrictions. POP! MULTIMEDIA Project: Assembled 4 small Flash video games for advertising purposes. Design was provided. The games were to advertising scholastic programs for AT&T and Citi Bank. GIRVIN Project: Created several interactive branding proposal demos using Flash. I also created the 2001 Christmas e-card. ZESPRI Project: Created a small bungee jumping Flash video game to help brand and advertise the Zespri kiwi fruit. NIKON Project: Worked with a team to create a Flash based interactive e-manual for Nikon’s entire product line. My responsibility was to assemble the parts in Flash and handle the UX and UI as well as some of the design. UNION BAY Project: Worked with a team to create Union Bay’s entire website. It included Flash based interactive 360 shots of their entire product line as well as several games and videos. I handled the more complicated Flash aspects such as the games and 360 shot player. ASYMETRICS / CLICK2LEARN Position: I handled some of the 2D design needs of the Asymetrics products such as Authorware templates and various UI. This is the position when I began to learn Flash, a direct competitor to Asymetric’s Authorware. When Asymectrics dropped the Authorware title and became Click2Learn, I took the role of animator for the 2-minute-tutorials. Simple tutorials on how to do things like use your cell phone (at a time when cell phones were rare). Show less
