This nice lady is a hard worker. She is definitely passionate about her job. Always eager to help and eager to keep track of things in the team she works in. She will pull others to a higher level by demonstrating dedication and commitment. It was a pleasure to work with her for half a year.

Project Member, and starting from September 2015 Technical Lead, of the "Mijn Telenet Care" Team, co-responsible for the development and maintenance of the existing applications such as CustomerSSO, Maintenance Tool and mijntelenet.be, along with the development of some new applications such as ocapi and the streaming-api. The development of the existing applications consists mainly of front-end work, done with HTML, CSS, Java (in combination with Spring), Freemarker and Javascript (mainly frameworks, such as Angularjs, Node.js and jQuery). The development of the new applications consists mainly of backend work and is done in Java, with the use of RESTful web services, again in combination with Spring. We are also involved in the architectural decisions regarding these projects. Apart from the development side, I was also co-responsible for the infrastructure move from all source code from SVN to GIT, while setting up new Jenkins environments and pipelines to automate the building & deployment processes to the newly provided JBoss environments. We also set up a whole new Nexus environment and re-investigated the use of existing deployment scripts. At Telenet we work in a team with 5 developers, one tester and one proxy check, in an agile way, using Scrum. Show less

JStack, full-stack development and part of the iAdvise group. Guidance of the "SmartStart"-internship, using Scrum, with two interns in The Netherlands. The SmartStart project aims to speed up the development of RCP and RAP projects and to automate the setup of an RCP and/or RAP environment (downloading and installing necessary plugins, eventually downloading and installing the correct RAP target, creation of template projects, providing straightforward wizards to add or edit new elements to these projects like views and perspectives, ...). Project to automatically generate PDF-documents from Word documents saved in an Oracle database. This has been accomplished with Java RESTful Webservices to do the actual conversion and PL/SQL procedures to communicate with these webservices. This project has been integrated into Doxxy, a product of iAdvise. Development on the eHealth connector in a generic way, in such a way that it can be easily and transparently used by several parties in the health-sector (hospitals, nurses, and so on). This for both the eHealth ehbox and the MyCareNet solutions for insurability and the administrative and invoicing flows. Research and use of Javascript Frameworks, including AngularJS, NodeJS and _underscore.js. Research on source control & continuous integration in combination with database systems (Flyway, Liquibase) and on the automatisation of the development process using Java (Jenkins, integration with SVN and GIT, Confluence and Jira). Creating and giving workshops on Apache Maven, GIT, Spring Core, Liquibase and Spring Boot. Java, PL/SQL, RESTful webservices (Java), RCP/RAP development, Agile development, Scrum, Javascript (and frameworks), Maven. Show less

Project to sign SOAP messages, independent of the business content of the message (using Spring Boot, Apache WSS4J security and RESTful web services). This has been developed in a generic way, which makes it an easily reusable and pluggable component. Working for the Royal Belgian Football Association, I was co-responsible for setting up and developing the REST and SOAP (micro-)services for the "Service Factory" (using Spring and Maven). This Service Factory is to be used by external partners of the Association. Apart from that, these services are also to be used by all internal applications in such a way that none of these other applications need to address the databases by themselves. I also worked on the setup of the Glassfish and Jenkins environments to automate the development, build and deployment processes. Finally, I also assisted to the development of the BBF-Backend (again with the use of Spring and Maven), the Java-backend for the new mobile applications in iOS and Android: "Best of Belgian Football". At the RBFA, we worked in a team with 4 developers, in an agile way, using Scrum. Netwerk Hieronymus is a network of Belgian hospitals. I independently had to develop the eHealth Java-module which has to connect to different web services. The module is intended to authenticate users with their eHealth certificate and consequently give them access to their eHealth-inbox and other services. This inbox is used in the healthcare sector to send encrypted messages about patients between care providers. Another service is the insurability service which allows care providers to check whether a patient is insured and if so, the company he is insured with. Alongside these services another module had to be built to send administrative and invoicing messages to the insurance companies, using the MyCareNet-platform. This module was integrated transparently into the other webservices to avoid extra complexity for the end users. The project consists of a couple of RESTful webservices and the accompanying PL/SQL code in an Oracle Database. This project was handled internally and on an independent basis. When problems occurred I had to to contact the help desks of the civil service. Independent and simultaneous development of multiple Java-modules and PL/SQL code. Technologies: Java, RESTful webservices, PL/SQL. Show less

All Pro Systems develops software solutions and provides administrative assistance for home care nurses. I independently had to develop the eHealth Java-module, which has to connect to different web services. The module is intended to authenticate users with their Belgian eID card and consequently give them access to their eHealth-inbox. This inbox is used in the healthcare sector to send encrypted messages about patients between care providers. This project consists of a standalone Java module, a couple of RESTful webservices, some applets to read the contents of the eID cards and the accompanying PL/SQL code in the Oracle Database. The PL/SQL part was developed together with the APEX-developer, who was responsible for the APEX-frontend. This project was handled internally and on a independent basis. When problems occurred I had to contact the helpdesks of the civil service. This project has officially been homologated by the Belgian federal government. Independent and simultaneous development of multiple Java-modules. Technologies: Java, Java Applets/ Servlets and RESTful webservices. Show less
