My main task is to help develop GUBI's environmental profile and sustainable goals for the upcoming years. This involves analyzing GUBI's current position, choosing our targets, making a timeline and moving towards that more sustainable future, both in supply chain logistics and in the business model. I am assisting GUBI in working towards reclaiming deep knowledge and transparency through our supply chain and install trust in our products and in our values. I will also be coordinating the yearly COP to the UNGC as well as internal governance of our new CSR team. Show less

Worked amongst the product design department to develop various projects for upcoming seasons of 2021 and 2022 for Global, Holmegaard, Lyndby porcelains, Bjorn Winblad -and Rosendahl. Out of curiosity and passion for the topic I also kickstarted a sustainability awareness project amongst the designers and the product development team. the aim was to spread awareness on our responsibility as designers and developers to create products responsibly. This project kickstarted my own research in the topic and allowed me to jump in further into CSR. Show less

I worked 7 months at Normann Copenhagen as an intern in their design studio. There, I learn a lot about Scandinavian aesthetics and mass production and what constraints it imposes on designer. I followed all the steps and stages of the development of a product, from early sketches to the final object. The internship focused on the technical aspect of product design. Over this 3 month period I worked closely with Mikiya Kobayashi helping him develop several projects at a time. I learned a lot about Japanese craftsmanship and project developing as we visited several workshops and manufacturers, working directly with the craftsmen to get to the final product. During this internship I also helped for the opening of MIkiya Kobayashi’s showroom in Kioshikawa. During this six-month period, I was able to work on a wide range of objects. For the first 3 months, I participated in the launch of one of their major projects. I was able to watch and help in the R&D process, searching for new technologies or new processes, asking for new material samples. After that, most of my work was CAD oriented, playing with shapes and volumes. I really learned a great deal about design over at Michael’s studio. The experience of living in Hong Kong opened my eyes and showed me a whole new aspect of developing a product. Show less

During those 5 months at Petzl, I was under the Packaging department. I believe a designer should be versatile, and even though I majored in product design, I wanted to challenge myself with something that took me out of my comfort zone. I worked on a new packaging for rock climbing harnesses. In stores, people try harness on for size, therefore, the packaging needed a sturdy opening, so that it is able to open and close several times. Petzl also wanted it to be reusable after purchase of the item. The graphics were changed as well in order to give better visibility to the Logo, and the picture of the harness in contained. Here is what I came up with. Show less
