I had to design a PCB board that would be used with a DAQ (Data Acquisition) unit to test power mod boards before they are added to anexisting product. This project best explains the work of Computer Engineering as I had to design the hardware, the PCB and connections to the DAQ, and the software, as well as the actual program that runs on the DAQ to test four power mod boards ans displays feedback to the user. Working as a intern I was tasked with the job of upgrading the infrastructure. I designed and implemented a VOIP (Voice Over IP) telephony system for both Gendac and its sister company (Sefeko). The server made use of four ISDN Bri lines where calls had to be routed to two different admin stations.
