    • Virtual Learning Experience Programme
      • Feb 2021 - Feb 2021

I completed the full White & Case Virtual Work Experience Programme on the Forage platform. I did the following modules: Project Finance, Banking and Finance, and Dispute Resolution. For the Project Finance module, I completed two tasks. For the first, I created a transaction chart for a large construction project using Microsoft PowerPoint. For the second task, I recorded a brief video presentation on methods to mitigate counterparty risk. I focused on government support as well as private insurance. In the Banking and Finance module, I completed a section of the prospectus for a company about to list its shares on the London Stock Exchange in its first IPO. The company also wished to renegotiate the terms of its senior loan facilities with its bank in light of its change in status from a private to a public company. I filled in sections of the Board Resolution as they pertained to renegotiating the terms of the loan with the bank. For the Dispute Resolution section, I prepared a brief PowerPoint presentation on the differences, advantages, and disadvantages between litigation and arbitration as well as advised the client (a bank) on incorporating an asymmetric arbitration clause into its terms of service.
