A caring, goal oriented and a coach with a principal of success. She revived me with her motivations and coaching, made me found a better way to find a path for my future and brought out the unseen ambition in me. She is the best in her field from my perspective and I owe her so much because of that.

Tineke, another great maritime ambassador! I enjoyed how we knew each other via LinkedIn, an amazing lady full of compassion and positivity is flowing from her mouth and actions. A former seafarer herself and now a maritime coach, I am glad she supported my idea to be the 4th Guest Speaker on my JAMTALK [Exclusive] #Seafarers Stories "SS" Series. (The Jamtalk 101) a talk show on LinkedIn Live where I will be bringing both former/active hashtag#seafarers to come onboard The Jamtalk 101 by hoping to increase the visibility of hashtag#seafarers role with their interesting sea stories to the virtual community. JAMTALK slogan "where the best ideas come from a great talk" which was created by hoping to put on highlighting and sharing real-life stories makes us more aware of the world around us and promotes faith in humanity. Time is so precious that cannot be replaced by money and she has given me part of it. For this, I wanted to take this opportunity to give thanks for her precious time on JAMTALK. Tineke is definitely someone you can be trusted in person as well as in profession. Here I am giving this good soul my highest recommendation and I wish her the greatest success in all her future endeavors. Hoping one day I can see her beautiful hut next to my lighthouse, together we shine and inspire those who are looking for people like us. Let there be light wherever she is. James

I highly recommend Tineke. We worked together on some projects, her most amazing strength is her great unique professionalism and attention to detail. She is ultimate people manager and will be an asset to any enterprise, project or firm!

I participated in the FP7 European Project, Maritime Aids Development for Emergency Responses at Sea (M’AIDER). This project looked comprehensively at improving sea safety by identifying, creating, and optimising emergency procedures. As well as this ground-breaking project, I worked on several other projects for the maritime sector. These projects included the prevention of shipping accidents, green energy issues, ship operation, and design. Working as a tight-knit team with fellow researchers and external contacts, for each project we brought together and analysed all the data, and presented them to steering groups, sponsors, and research groups. I was also a coach and mentor for MSc and PhD students, and provided supervision for lectures and seminars when needed. Show less

I took my passion for maritime and turned it in a successful new direction, by providing comprehensive and sales support for an electrical engineering company that sold nautical equipment to clients across the world. My specialism and comprehensive experience in maritime affairs ensured the company could provide a highly professional and capable service to global maritime companies. I was also a proud and able representative of Pole Star Applications Ltd., a leading provider of vessel monitoring, ship security, and fleet management systems, which involved supervising web-based tracking and monitoring applications. Here, I used and built on my skills I developed in my previous roles and took them to a new level. I planned all the ship’s cargo and coordinated the ship’s journey and scheduling during transit. I was also the point of call for global vessel coordinators to make sure we had smooth operations, and I regularly troubleshooted any problems raised by using creative thinking.
