Throughout my career I have worked with several Human Resource Managers. However, I must say that I have not worked with any manager that exhibited the professional and ethical qualities that I have witness in Tina. Over the last four years, Tina Holcomb has truly represented the company’s values and beliefs while supporting the management staff during our ongoing quest to move the Prosperity facility to a world class facility. In her role, Tina has exhibited an incredible work ethic while building positive relationships with the associates at the facility. Through her affiliation in the local and state SHRM organization she has been able to make needed connections to gain valuable information and support the organization. Tina actually sits on the state board of the SHRM organization. Tina was also constantly working hand in hand with me seeking new ways to develop the managers and supervisors. She recently completed a certification through the Center for Creative leadership to administer and train others in the company on developing improvement plans from the 360º feedback instrument. Tina did an outstanding job communicating, documenting, and training the hourly and management at Concept Packaging on the many human resource type programs that were required to be implemented throughout the organization. With Tina's expertise, the various plant operations improved their "consistency" and "fairness" when administering the various State, OSHA, DHEC, and Federal employment, safety, and employee requirements. Equal and fair pay standards, the appraisal process, and consistent discipline were also improved significantly with Tina's leadership.
