Bio
Jenniffer L. Quiel, RN
I've had the pleasure of working with Tina Sanjar, MD, MBA from 2012 to 2022 while she served as Assistant Medical Director of Hospitalist Services at South Miami Hospital. I was then working as a Clinical Rehab Liaison for a National Rehabilitation Hospital which entailed extensive collaboration with a large number of providers including hospitalists, specialists, nurses and ancillary healthcare staff. During this time I witnessed countless hours of pure dedication and compassion, often serving as the main resource for other physicians and nursing staff. Dr. Sanjar was unique in that she was always willing to have the difficult conversations with her patients and family members while also using these opportunities as teaching moments for all involved. Dr Sanjar is exceptionally gifted in making patients feel heard, valued and informed during their hospitalization and throughout the discharge process making a positive difference overall patient outcomes and satisfaction. Dr. Sanjar has an incomparable sense of responsibility and it often caused her to spend consecutive days at the hospital caring for patients, which is a testament to her dedication highlighting her as a leader in the field of medicine. I can confidently say that she is an exceptional physician with the highest standards of clinical excellence, leadership and professionalism and is well regarded and respected by her peers and colleagues. As we look into the future of healthcare I would consider Dr. Sanjar’s sense of compassion, dedication and clinical excellence to be great asset to any organization or role she would undertake. Respectfully, Jenniffer L. Quiel, RN Post Acute Case Manager AvMed Healthplan

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Sanjar, who was Assistant Medical Director of Hospitalist Services and one of my supervising physicians during my time as a Hospitalist APRN. Dr. Sanjar is a phenomenal physician, communicator, educator, and leader. She provides care decisively and expertly, and does so with compassion and reassuring attention. Dr. Sanjar communicates with patients, families, and colleagues in a way that is honest, educational, respectful, and collaborative. As a leader, Dr. Sanjar brings out the best in the healthcare team, encouraging individuals to discover and practice their unique skills and strengths, while keeping the team organized and on track to reach goals and attain the best outcomes. I am grateful for all that I learned during my time working with Dr. Sanjar, and recommend her as an outstanding physician and member of any healthcare team.
