  I was hired as a receptionist (worked 2 years at that desk for check in and check out), trained as a Medical assistant but work as a Clinical Assistant throughout the years to at least 12 physicians with physician assistants to current. While doing so, I manage all of the practice prescription refills (2yrs) and prescription authorizations (2012-current), I took on billing for a year and some medical records duties as needed. I remain as a Clinical Assistant and Authorization Specialist for all our providers and help in every aspect of the job at hand. I also help patients with lowering the cost of their medications in any way I can, even if an authorization isn't required. I do all I can and what I can for my employer and the patients. Show less
