Tina did her bachelor project under my supervision. Tina planned and conducted her bachelor project based on my guidelines. During her bachelor project she produced research results which resulted in a conference presentation on the Pestivirus symposium on simulatneous DNA and RNA genome purification. Several different methods were validated and compared, her thesis has been used as part of our decision making for our diagnostic work.

Addressing important area of cell surface proteoglycan receptors research with relevance for tumour biology. This was done through analyze proteolytic cleavage products for syndecan-1 and syndecan-4, generating monoclonal antibodies that specifically recognize the cleavage product but not the core protein, and to use these antibodies to stain for specific syndecan cleavage products in tumour biopsies Addressing important area of cell surface proteoglycan receptors research with relevance for tumour biology.
