      As an administrative assistant in the International office of the Faculty I offer all the needed administrative support in terms of different programme exchanges but also in the coordination of Public Procurement. International office is primarily intended for offering support to foreign and exchange students and guest lecturers and researchers from abroad as well as our students and employees, who want to do part of their study or work abroad. I assist in the form of helping to arrange documentation related to arrival and departure to and from Slovenia and staying, arranging accommodation and general support that is not directly related to the study, teaching and researching. I also gained the opportunity to actively participate in the application and coordination of various projects (also international) and programmes and to work with different partners. During the assist in coordination of student projects I improved the ability to work with people and advise them, to communicate in a more formal way and be able to prepare different official papers. Beside that I also help in publishing news and organizing the official webpage. During the work, English became practically my second language, since we work with foreigners most of our time, I improved the competences in using Excel, Word and Powerpoint as well as communicating through e-mails. I am able to manage different assignments in short amount of time, I became more professional and also organized, since the job requires my full concentration and participation in various tasks at the same time.       Since I graduated on Media department, this is the job that gave me the opportunity to learn the most about my field of study. As a Marketing Assistant in the company that is deep in tourism industry, I was able to connect my Media studies with my master studies and all the experiences I had with tourism and guests. I helped in preparation of promotional materials and statistical data and reports about services, organizing different events, managing social networks, ... I also developed the ability of creative thinking and expression, and improved my knowledge in working with Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, ... ). Show less

      As a Receptionist I was in constant communication with the clients of our hotel: from greeting them and giving them the basic information at the check-in, to preparing the invoices and wishing them a safe back home at the check-outs. We had the option to meet new people, making new friend connections and to get to know the world and cultures. This is the job that I am most proud of.
