LAGI, Local Project Manager with BUGA 23
-
May 2021 - Present
Land Art Generator Initiative will work together with the Bundesgartenshow 2023, creating the next international design challenge LAGI Mannheim 2022. This design challenge will propose human-centered design solutions that can weave renewable energy into our lives in ways that improve human thriving. As a local project manager, my role is not only to translate the local language but to translate the local culture into the design dialogue. I am excited to help build partnerships with institutes, assist in educational presentations, and open opportunities for a continuous relationship between renewable energy and art in our urban space. Solutions Design Consultant

Sep 2018 - Present
As a Solution Design Consultant, it is important to stay courteous and respectful to clients' wishes and ideas. Translating these ideas into a working process with budget and time in mind is a welcoming task because the reward is the satisfied client with a quality product. Finding solutions is a creative way to think and implement. I believe in cross-disciplinary and cross-culturally implementation to find the right solution. The Banner Project is to honor our diverse community leaders and to recognize their impact and importance in the past and presence of Olympia. During the project, I created spaces for collaboration and exchange for our BIPOC community to lead the narrative. I am honored to have participated in the Banner Project through mitigating cultural diversity, integrating the local high school, and helping navigate municipal zoning and regulations. Social Media Manager
-
Sep 2018 - May 2021
Maintaining the Hammerhead Mixed Martial Arts website and post on their various social media platforms was a role I enjoyed. Seminar and advertising development was a key feature to promote the Hammerhead MMA program and the exceptional coaches. In addition, community outreach projects were a healthy and long-lasting relationship-building to keeping marketing, branding, and growth in mind. My time with Hammerhead MMA not only taught me the vast amount of skill and experience it takes to be a MMA coach but also the community it has that I am now lucky to be part of. Show less

Architectural Technician

Apr 2015 - 2018
As an employer at cjpc, it was part of my task to visit job sites and collaborate with work professionals to efficiently work on a project. Detailed measurements followed by sketches and finalized into a set of drawings. In the office, my main program was Auto CAD, SketchUp, and Revit to complete a set of detailed drawings and a clear presentation of the project. Many times I consulted with clients and engaged in initial design meetings as well as reached out to various building officials. Working at cjpc was a wonderful experience that taught me the art of architectural drawings and the pleasure meeting and working together with various professions in the field of construction. In this specific internship I was fortunate to observe and document with field sketches and photography under the guidance of the late Dr. Berndmark Heukemes. Sustainable housing restorations was achieved through modern construction techniques, harmonizing with century old building materials. It was a privilege to be part of the cities organisation that not only preserved the historic architecture but adapted it to the demands of this century by integration and education.
