Governance of large projects: Secure Government Networks 185 M€, Electronic services and democracy 70 M€, Consolidation of Infrastructure ICT, Open Data 50 M€ and ICT-Service Architecture 120 M€. Leadership of the formulation of two new laws 1) Governmental Security Network's Functionality and 2) Law on Arranging Common ICT-services for State. Founded new Shared ICT-Service Center agency with revenue of 300 M€ and personnel of 1300. On two years leave from 14.3.2014 to 13.3.2016 for acting as the first Chairman of the Board of the new Valtori Shared Service Center Agency. A new national cooperation body, the Payments Council, has been created with the purpose of further developing retail payments. It brings together users and providers of payment services and the authorities with the aim of supporting the use of advanced and internationally compatible forms of payment that are efficient for society as a whole. The reliability and efficiency of payment systems depends on smooth cooperation between all participants in the payment chain. The Payments Council ensures that the views of payment service users and providers and also of the authorities are taken into account in discussions on future payment solutions. This is particularly important in view of the ongoing internationalisation of payment systems. The Payments Council acts as a national counterpart to the Euro Retail Payments Board, ERPB. Show less

Implemented purchaser-provider model in information technology with standardized and outsourced IT infrastructure and application services. Directed regional programme for seamless care 2001-2007. Formulated the first information technology and management strategy for hospital district in 2003. Implemented an electronic patient record and new hospital information systems in 2004-2007. Negotiated a combination of stock ownership and service agreement deal in which university hospitals in Finland sold their majority in hospital systems software company Medici Data to WM-data (after that Logica, now CGI). Architected and was appointed to the director for new organization unit consisting of patient & care information and process support together with outsourced IT/IS leadership. Introduced a new enterprise level future program (2009-2012) for patient care process and information support and IT leadership for Pirkanmaa Hospital District. Show less
