MindHive is a web platform that allows universities, NGO's, government and business to work together to build better policies.Too often, policy decisions are made from a narrow perspective. The full range of consequences aren’t always fully considered, and the institutional practices of the policymaker can prevent innovation. This can be difficult to change. The appropriate range of expertise isn’t always easy to find, and it’s hard to know how wide the net should be flung to seek it. Collaboration is also difficult and expensive to coordinate. This is what MindHive changes. We do this because our central organisational aim is to improve the quality of policy and strategy. Better policy for a better world. Show less

My job is to think through how design and technology can be used for positively influencing good policy making here in Australia. I get the opportunity to hear lots of ideas from our research network community and then translate that into mediums that can be easily digested by policy and political leaders. My role also includes communicating the Eidos Institute's brand, narrative and events throughout our network of researchers and policy-makers.
