I had the pleasure of working with Tim Keane for nine years at Siemens Industry's Building Technologies Division from November 2003 through May 2013. Tim supported both Accounting and Finance in multiple capacities throughout our mutual tenure at Siemens. As a versatile Field Financial Analyst, Tim analyzed operating expenses, accounts receivables, accounts payables, capital expenditures, and accruals. He was a successful liaison between Division Accounting, Finance, Credit and Collections and the Field Accounting organization, dealing with all issues tactfully and professionally. As part of the team, he volunteered to conducted Field Sarbanes-Oxley procedure audits. He also provided valuable assistance to Shared Accounting Services in the accurate migration of the Field General Ledger from Oracle and BPCS to SAP. In 2008, Tim's role evolved into a position with a concentration on the P&L for the Fire Solutions business. Additionally, he was challenged with producing the monthly standard management reporting package for Service and Solutions. In 2011, the standard package was expanded to include a second business unit. Tim accepted the challenges and quickly became a lead analyst for our team with each change in circumstance. He produced accurate analysis for all offerings while constantly looking for new ways to examine our current assumptions and present our business positions. Tim has a solid understanding of both Finance and Accounting principles. He is an excellent team member and an organization would be quite fortunate to add him as a member of their team.
