Timothy was a pleasure to work with on the several high school projects we colaborated on. He knows how to effectively use input from specialists to produce an excellent finished project in the most cost-effective way. The photography classrooms and labs we did together turned out very well. It was great to be part of a team in which "team" was not just a buzz word.

Donna Natale Mason

I met Tim while working at Fanning-Howey. We worked on projects for Goshen and Chesterton. It was very easy to incorporate my designs into his plans because we seemed to have similar ideas. I now have the pleasure of working with Tim in tandem on multiple residential projects. We work on high-end second homes along Lake Michigan. I like to think that he starts the project and I finish it up. Tim is very respectful of client's wishes and takes into consideration their lifestyles when designing their homes.

Jim Vermillion

Tim is a very hard worker, he puts in long hours as needed to make the job successful amd he he very dedicated to his work.

I have heard from many others that Glen Ellyn has a very active Chamber of Commerce. There do seem to be frequent get togethers such as Business After Hours and networking groups. This has been a great place to get acquainted with others in the business community. I have heard from many others that Glen Ellyn has a very active Chamber of Commerce. DuPage Referral Network was a networking group comprised of business owners. We were category exclusive (e.g.: one insurance person, one mortgage person, one realtor, etc.) and we brought in leads for each other. It was cost effective marketing, and more realistically priced than many networking groups. I served as program director, arranging the schedule for speakers and displays for each meeting. I previously was Sergeant in Arms, setting the room and keeping the meetings on schedule. I have made suggestions such as developing business cards for the group as an alternative to brochures which are not always convenient to have in hand. We were previously a franchise of My Referral Club and created an independent club in 2012.

GOA is a regional chamber with members from over 80 communities in the Chicago West Suburbs. We see it as a great opportunity to expand our network in the area of potential growth. Our business coach Rich Becker introduced me to the organization. GOA is a regional chamber with members from over 80 communities in the Chicago West Suburbs. I consulted with Wilhelmi AV Solutions for sales and document production. With my architecture background I could, in John's words "translate the geek to normal people." I can also assist with construction technology, and help to integrate AV systems with the architecture. I am still a sales representative but do not list it as a current position as it bumps off my main profession. I came up with the acronym AvItChi (Audio Visual and Information Technologies of Chicagoland) and developed a logo, website, and marketing materials, but when John talked to his customers they preferred he keep his name in the business. It later evolved into a name that does that and best describes his services: "Wilhelmi AV Solutions".

I was hired for my education experience as this primarily library design office acquired a school project. It was a good firm but I was ready to get out of the corporate world and call my own shots. I was hired for my education experience as this primarily library design office acquired a school project. This company has split into two separate firms since my departure, and was on the verge of doing so during my tenure. I worked with Doug Pasma but after leaving served as a consultant to Greg Goss, who eventually renamed his part The Goss Group. FH was a great place to learn how to organize large projects and coordinate a large team of people both within an office and outside consultants. I was proud to design schools knowing your work would be creating a lasting environment for the all important task of preparing future generations for the world. The technology at our disposal with cad networking made for a great working environment. This turned out to be a great place to learn the practice of architecture. Dave Harness took on several project types and I was very hands on at this smaller firm. Also in a town of 500 people there wasn't much else to do! Yet we had relationships with companies that gave us large projects in NW Indiana, and we did VA Hospitals in Wisconsin, Michigan, Texas, and California. We also did Pizzeria Uno in Merrillville Indiana, the first franchise that came in under $1m due to our incorporation of 3d imagery to reduce field changes by the franchise architect. We also did several medical offices and residential work. It was great experience that I feel helped give me pass the ARE (Architect Registration Examination) the first shot, IN 1994.
