  As member of the Senior Management Team, I provided oversight of the daily operations of three (3) departments, as well as an approved ACCESS application site and two (2) federally funded grants with a combined award amount of $5.2 million dollars. The team I managed consisted of three (3) program managers with oversight of 23 department employees. In this role, I represented the organization on a number of committees, lead audit reviews of contracted providers, developed operating procedures and managed multiple budgets including prevention contracts which totaled $4.5 million annually.   I began my career as a volunteer with this organization while attending graduate school at North Carolina State University. I was soon offered a position as a Resident Counselor and provided direct care to children residing in group care who were involved with the Juvenile Justice System.
