I have served as AER's lead systems engineer for software implementation of the GOES-R weather satellite's magnetometer (MAG) and solar ultraviolet imager (SUVI) Level 1 calibration ground processing algorithms (GPAs), to include derivation of software requirements based on system level specifications, algorithm prototyping, test data development and software verification testing. In the field of greenhouse gas measurement and emissions estimation, performed data analysis and modeling in support of the NASA Active Sensing of CO2 Emissions over Nights, Days, and Seasons (ASCENDS) lidar study to characterize the impact of uncertainties in atmospheric state on laser absorption spectroscopy (LAS)-based CO2 concentration retrievals. Contributed to the design and implementation of the GreenLITE™ lidar data processing system to detect, monitor, and quantify CO2 and CH4 source leaks and emissions at carbon sequestration sites, in urban environments, and at oil and gas production facilities based on differential LAS measurements. Developed atmospheric correction software to process environmental data and interface with a radiative transfer model.

Led FTI's support of the NPOESS (Suomi NPP) Visible Infrared Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) ground test program. Duties included interfacing with customer, organization of tasking for 5-7 team members, and managing contract funding. Performed radiometric calibration software development and analysis for the VIIRS ground test and calibration program. Supported two large-scale DoD remote sensing programs via electro-optical sensor radiometric calibration, analysis and calibration software development, data system modeling, and line-of-sight star catalog generation during sensor and payload level TVAC ground testing as well as the early on-orbit test phase of both programs.
