Played an integral role in OSU’s medical campus expansion with the goal of maintaining 100% operability throughout the move, demolition and construction processes: In the McCampbell Hall renovation and expansion project: created plans and photo inventory of existing furniture to manage departmental moves; coordinated work with another contracted interior design company to generate a cohesive database of inventoried furniture. In the Cancer and Critical Care Expansion Project: coordinated routes and transition planning of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) in collaboration with the architect of record. Show less

Successfully completed a wide variety of tasks at this highly innovative, environmentally oriented Cincinnati firm--the first architecture and engineering entity in the world to operate out of a LEED Platinum office space. Assumed progressively greater responsibility for schematic design, drawing details, drawing coordination, code reviews, design reviews, site visits, and organizing responses to RFPs. Contacted representatives to inquire about materials research for large higher education projects. Carried out numerous research and coordination assignments while working directly with the supervisor of a large NASA master plan project. Show less

Gained valuable experience over two 3-month periods as a co-op with a 100-member Cincinnati design firm. Spring Session: Engaged in graphic layout of presentation boards, field measurements and floor plans for renovation projects, proximity analysis, area calculations, and use analysis for code review. Fall Session: Extensively involved in drafting CDs, rendering plans and elevations, drafting floor plans for renovation projects, 3D modeling, and plan development per equipment lists. Show less
