I provide business direction, leadership, and oversight for the entire NAVFAC Atlantic AOR. NAVFAC Atlantic, and our six subordinate Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs), operate with over 12,000 employees and utilize two business models, the Navy Working Capital Fund and General Fund. Our Volume of Business typically exceeds $3B a year. Our Command covers all of the continental United States as well as Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia. We use both in-house employees and contractors to deliver critical shore facilities engineering and public works support services within the following Business and Support Lines: Capital Improvements (Design and Construction Services), Public Works (Maintenance, Utilities, and Transportation Products and Services), Asset Management (Planning and Real Estate Services), and Environmental (Planning, Compliance, and Restoration Services). Our Support Lines include Acquisition, Financial Management, Command Information, and Legal. I provide business advice and counsel to the Commander and numerous other leaders throughout our area-of-responsibility. I lead our Strategic Planning efforts and our recurring operational and financial execution performance reviews.
