Jason Freeberg
There are people you like to work with, and there are people you love to work with. Tim always brings an attitude of hardworking humility to the table. He is always able to face the brutal facts, discuss them productively, and work to outline a solution. I was always surprised by (and jealous of) the speed at which Tim was able to crank out documents and plans for his solutions. Tim worked on the officer board of UC Santa Barbara's Data Science Club while I was President. When I resigned from my position, Tim was eager and ready for the challenge. I graduated knowing full well that the organization was in his capable hands. I sincerely hope that Tim and I have the opportunity to work together again after college. While part of NCEAS Scientific Computing Team, Timothy has demonstrated that he is a fast learner, curious mind and knows how to take initiative to solve problems.
