I worked with Tim for several years at Interactive Studios in my role as owner and developer. I've got to know Tim as a very good software developer and project manager. He's strict, realistic and has more than enough knowledge on relevant topics. Because of his personality, humor and enthusiasm he can easily motivate people to successfully complete project goals. Tim is also a person who is always looking to improve both the software we build as well as how we run things within the company. He can identify weak points and setup and run projects to improve these points. We've set up many of these projects because of our ISO9001 and ISO27001 certifications and Tim was involved in many of these projects as the project lead or a defining part of the team. All of these projects were completed successfully. In the first half year of his employment at Interactive Studios he was instrumental in upgrading and modernizing the technology we build our projects (and products) on. Tim already had experience with the technology we would want to use (Laravel in this case) en he worked together with the rest of the team to figure out how we could implement that without disregarding the security demands we have. He also brought the rest of the team up to speed on the technology and developed many packages to support the technology within our organization. For several big projects Tim was the project lead, including projects for large clients such as Canon and ABN Amro with several developers and designers that needed to be managed. The clients were all very happy with the results and the way these projects were managed. Tim was also one of the people behind the start of our staff association. In that capacity, among other things, he organized several weekend trips for 20+ people.
