Product Manager/I.T Manager
-
Jul 2003 - Oct 2004
As Product Manager at Qflicks I was involved in keeping a close eye on our main website so that products displayed were always correct and in the right order, there possibly being over 20 thousand DVD titles out of place. I needed to order a sufficient number of DVDs to cover all the customer’s requirements from studios such as Fox, Columbia, Tri-Star, Warner etc. I worked closely with a group of programmers to develop the system and the website so that we could improve the public experience efficiently. The role of IT manager involved developing and expanding the existing I.T faculties plus work alongside with the programmers analyzing the data and functions of the database.

IT Support Technician
-
Jun 1999 - Jun 2003
As a technical engineer at HardSoft I had many roles. My main role was to assess a company’s IT systems and requirements, discussing the finer details with the client to come to a conclusion of what they actually needed. I would then put their requirements through to our sales department who would order the necessary equipment. Once the equipment arrived at the company's head office I would plan the implementation of the system. The setup could be 25-100 user corporate setup to a peer-to-peer 4-user setup. Another part of the job was to support the current client systems that were set up historically.
