I have worked here for four years as an evening shift production operator. I was responsible for hand assembling experimental batteries, working to various specifications. This included, producing the sub assembly parts, stacking the parts and completing the build using equipment such as ultrasonic welders and vacuum sealers. I also had to complete an accurate record of parts assembled and consumed. I was required to supervise the shift as necessary during holidays. Company was acquired by Kerry Ingredients around 2002. Job responsibility had become focused more on recipe control using Promix software. Became involved with Label control including the design and data management, as well as helping create a GS1 standard pallet label. Around 2013 the company moved over to SAP. I was a part of the team which oversaw the transfer of data from the old systems to SAP. For this I was selected as department lead for the QC module. Post go live I then reverted to my recipe control role maintaining the bill of materials and quality control test data. In addition I assisted the quality manager with data gathering for complaints.
