Maintain a budget of $500K and adhere to yearly cost reductions with increased equipment and software demands through creative cost cutting measures. Lead the IT portion of two business acquisitions that required remote warehouse integration for order generation, inventory control, and shipment processing along with AR/AP, customer and item conversions. I was a key team member for a third multimillion dollar merger as well. Additionally, we have solved challenges with remote warehouses to create a successful integration with a west coast distribution center. All projects were successful and fully tested well before the project deadlines. Also lead teams for projects such as infrastructure upgrades, wireless scanner and barcoding enhancements and upgrades with labor reporting integrations, EDI customer conversion where 60 to 70% of inbound ordering is now electronic, created a customer portal for checking order status, tracking information, pricing, and inventory levels . We built a Sales Cube using SQL Server for mining item, customer, and sales data. Created a home-grown data warehouse to use for BI by various departments. Additionally, upgraded the entire corporate backbone with high speed switching and fiber links. Created, maintained, and secured AS400/iSeries accounts along with being responsible for connectivity and configuration of remote controllers and program integrations. Maintained system backups on the network equipment and continually updated and tested the disaster recovery plan.
