Professor Moira Livingston
I have read the other recommendations on Tim all of which I concur and so I want to focus on his leadership in this recommendation because for me he is a stand out NHS Leader. I worked closely with Tim when he led the complex Smith review of the improvement and leadership landscape for NHS England. Tim behaves with integrity. He is is the kind of leader you want to follow and do whatever you can to support him in the work he is leading. He recognises, values and respects all members of his team and gets the most from people. He encourages contributions from everyone and he has rigorous standards. Although at times the focus of the work may seem distant from patients you are aware that in the mire we often work in at a senior level in the NHS Tim's focus is clear: what is best for people using health services? Tim's system knowledge and understanding of how to work effectively within this complex system is second to none, in my experience. If you ever get the chance to work with Tim grab the opportunity: you will learn so much, it will be a success and you will enjoy it!
Simon Trickett
Tim has worked with NHS South Worcestershire CCG for a couple of years now, initially advising us on OD work in relation to creating our new organisation but more recently on a one to one basis with members of the Governing Body and Executive Team. He has developed excellent relationships with all of us and has been a tremendous help. Tim's experience, insight and support has been of the highest quality and he is making a real difference to both individual's development plans but also to our wider OD progress. I am delighted to recommend Tim and look forward to working with him again in the future.
