Manage the functions of transformation, IT, customer experience, continuous improvement, project management, and offshore staffing. Each function provides services to our external customers and internal network of 96 UK warehouses.Identified the opportunity, developed the business case, selected the vendor and launched our offshore centre in India with over 220 staff and >£4m annual recurring savings.Conducted Zero Based Budget analysis across the company surfacing both quick wins and longer-term overarching opportunities identifying >£15m annual recurring savings.Developed an IT strategy using hoshin kanri techniques to completely align with the business strategy resulting in >£1m/year savings.Introduced continuous improvement approach and organisation using lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology.Championed a strategic systems alternatives analysis for Tuffnells. The recommendation was to replace their entire suite of custom AS/400 Parcel delivery core systems with state of the art COTS software. The project business case payback was less than 3 years including both significant improvements for customer service as well as major internal productivity improvements.
