  After my days as a student and a year out travelling I spent two years working in London for KPMG Peat Marwick, one of the large accountancy firms. I joined the tax department which was something of a learning curve given that I had by that point not paid any tax (but something I hasten to add I have more than made up for now). I managed to get my ATT qualification but realised that it was the legal aspects of the work i enjoyed and so having benefitted from the work experience and meeting some very nice people back to law college I went. Manchester Metropolitan University for two years, and the delights of the CPE and LPC. Show less
