Back in 1993, I built an incredible theme park on Isla Nublar - near Costa Rica. It was populated by genetically reconstructed dinosaurs! I'd hired Tim in the late 80's as a mathematical advisor - particularly for his computer models and theories as they related to the cloning and containment of prehistoric animals. He consented to give assistance with the project, but warned us that the experiment would not work as expected. Anyway, in 1993 one of our workers on Isla Nublar suffered a fatal accident, and our investors began to panic. They demanded that a team of experts be flown in to inspect the island and to either endorse or denounce its safety. I decided to bring Tim along, hoping he'd give his endorsement, even though he'd never believed we would succeed in our goals. It was a nice to prove him wrong. And he was amazed that Jurassic Park was a reality, and that I'd indeed cloned 15 species of dinosaurs in this lush tropical paradise. However, Tim remained adamant that it was a paradise that was fated to fall into a living hell. He spouted some fashionable Chaos Theory nonsense like, "Life can not be controlled... Life finds a way." Unfortunately, his assertions were proven to be deadly accurate, as while he and the rest of the inspectors were viewing the park in our automated tour cars, an unscrupulous employee sabotaged the island's power systems, rendering the electric fences that kept the dinosaurs contained useless. The tour had the unfortunate timing of being near the Tyrannosaurus paddock at the time. And the enraged animal broke free of its enclosure and attacked my visiting grand-children. Tim boldly leapt from his vehicle and attempted to lure the T-Rex away so that fellow scientist Dr. Alan Grant could rescue the kids. However, the animal quickly caught up with Tim and rammed him into the air with its snout, sending him through the wall of a near-by lavatory. He was injured but alive, and even managed to apply a make-shift tourniquet to his leg. Thankfully, Tim was later rescued by other survivors of the night's catastrophes, and was brought to safety. He was right all along. But that's Tim for you. Highly recommended.
