I have had the privilege working with Tim at The Tutors' Association since 2013 and more latterly when he became a Director of the Association in 2017 and undertook the Presidency in 2019 to 2020. He is a consummate professional and has the ability to develop and focus on the right strategies for the organisation. As a result, the Association has gone from strength to strength under his leadership both in terms of its profile externally and membership growth. I have always been impressed by Tim’s sound judgment and his strategic thinking as he discharged his role. He has engaged fully with the government, in particular with the Education and Business Departments (DfE and BEIS) and gain full recognition of the Association. Tim is personable, an excellent communicator and has made a significant contribution to the Tutoring Profession in the UK. As a result we had no hesitation is awarding Tim an Honorary fellowship of the Association in recognition of his services to the profession.
