      • AMT is a National coffee retailer with 60 coffee shops throughout UK & Ireland with 350 employees, 35 in head office. • I headed the procurement department with an annual spend of £7m annually. I reported directly to the Managing Director with a purchasing assistant reporting to me. • All purchases of fixtures, fittings, raw ingredients, coffee, baked goods, sandwiches and fresh offerings went through procurement. • I made and facilitated relationships with suppliers of raw ingredients, finished products and developed bespoke food and packaging products for the business based in UK and Ireland. • Coordinated up to 60 centralised deliveries daily to UK and Ireland from AMT warehouse well as direct deliveries from external suppliers. • Culled 15% of sales lines to improve GP, reduce wastage and to simplify menu and operations, this liberated £350k from stock and warehousing. • Directed projects to find new warehousing and operations centre and to introduce new compostable coffee cups. • Reduced costs of warehousing 7% and deliveries by 9% by streamlining deliveries, storage and procedures. • Achieved 99% accuracy of product listings, up from 78% to ensure correct and acceptable GP margin and VAT codes.       • Retail store franchise with 50% non-Spar purchases and weekly purchases of £30k per week of dairy, meats, breads, canned and bottled goods, butchery and items for coffee shop and deli counter. • I managed all purchases and reported directly to MD with 7 department heads reporting to me controlling 29 staff members. • Led project to redevelop site which involved meetings with MD, landlords, banks, Spar finance teams, architects, planners and construction companies. • Developed planning strategy concerning short, medium and long-term projection (one week to 18 months). • Developed high quality daily, weekly and monthly reporting to provide insight into all aspects of business performance. • Reviewed weekly inventory controls, set targets and monitored compliance in each department and ensured the inventory was at an acceptable level through weekly meetings with each department head. • Led weekly supplier review meetings and monthly demand review meetings and managed seasonal campaigning by planning the approach, supply logistics, inventory control and point of sale. • Identified areas where weaknesses in control occurred and implemented corrective action with the teams and ensured inventory was tightly controlled via focused reporting and regular stock takes.
