This conversion eliminated a monthly mainframe charge, provided 24/7 online availability to clients, and allowed more flexibility for enhancements going forward. Programming was done using VB .Net and SQL scripts. Provided end to end SQL Server support. This included maintenance plans, Integration and Reporting Services, and SQL scripting (stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.). SQL Server version started at 2000 and was last upgraded to 2016. Provided support for Intranet Data Entry system, including troubleshooting problems and requested enhancements. The site was written using Visual Studio, VB .Net, Javascript, and JQuery. Automated desktop support (Windows XP and 7) using Active Directory and WSUS. This provided consistency which reduced troubleshooting times when problems did occur.
