As a member of the network engineering team I am responsible for implementing and managing the systems monitoring platform for the Cisco based network. This includes HP’s NNM, NetVoyant, by CA, and multiple perl and shell scripts. Accomplishments ● Implemented and maintained the NetVoyant performance monitoring system. ● Upgraded the NNM event monitoring system to new software versions and hardware. ● Worked with bid teams to provide monitoring technical details, implementation plans and pricing for systems monitoring for new network bids. ● Created and supported multiple automation scripts to stream line processes such as user account synchronization or Cisco switch configuration updates. ● Was part of the team to develop the rollout and support of a large municipal PON network for a potential client. ● Created and implemented a project plan to migrate the Network Monitoring systems to a VM and cloud based architecture. ● Worked with Hewlett Packard as beta program partner to test and improve development versions of NNM. ● Worked with SevOne and internal teams to implement and automate the customer facing portal for service reporting.
