      After Trailhead was bought out by Schlafly's we started work on getting the restaurant to start looking like Schlafly's but due to Covid-19 that got delayed a little bit and we were able to open up at the start of May. Not much changed from the previous restaurant I worked under other than new menu items like Cuban Sandwiches, different kinds of burgers and pizzas etc. After Trailhead was bought out by Schlafly's we started work on getting the restaurant to start looking like Schlafly's but due to Covid-19 that got delayed a little bit and we were able to open up at the start of May.       I came here knowing my way around a kitchen in fast food but this was my first time in a restaurant kitchen which can be very different on certain things. I was responsible initially for the fry area of the kitchen which would consist of prepping many different apps and entrees like poppers, onion rings, fish for fish and chips, wings and many more. I was later trained on pizzas and salads and a little broil and over time learned how to work fast and efficiently in the kitchen and any role I was needed. Show less

      I was a Kitchen/ Service member at McDonald's for a little over a year and in that time I worked about every position you can work there.       I only worked at Safeway for a couple of days but then had to quit due to moving out of state abruptly but I have the common knowledge and somewhat of experience with stocking shelves at a grocery store.       During my short time as a DD/Busser i was responsible for getting completed order to the customers in a timely manner and made sure everything was to their satisfaction. As a busser I would do the usual clean tables and run dishes to and from the dish station along with taking out the trash at the end of my shift.
