I am proud to announce that I have accepted the Capacity Building Director position with BLDG Memphis. Through this position, I am helping local community development corporations achieve their goals centered around housing development, economic development, and neighborhood planning. My team and I are supporting CDCs and small business owners by offering technical assistance, and training around board development, policy development, and community engagement. Additionally, I manage the New City Builders program that will be accepting applications soon and my team is working hard as we speak as we relaunch MemFix and activate 7 neighborhoods that are a part of our Community Navigator Pilot Program. Eureka! is a 5 year comprehensive program designed to inspire girls ages 12 to 18 to pursue their academic and career interests, especially in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) related fields. Girls enter the program the summer before their eighth grade year and continue through their high school graduation. The Eureka!
