It's my pleasure to offer my recommendation of Tim. Tim is a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. Tim is a welcome addition to any team, and has secured a spot on my MVP list. He brings talent, knowledge, hard work, and an open mind to the table.

While reporting to Tim, he mentored me during some of my time at ThermaTru Doors. Tim led me to help solve some of the greatest manufacturing challenges that the company was facing. Tim gave me the freedom to express my creativity in determining engineering solutions, but also was an excellent guide to help me understand manufacturing engineering. While working with Tim, he took the time to understand my skill set and what projects the company could benefit from by applying my skills. When working on projects, he was able to direct me towards the proper resources to ensure my success. Further, Tim was a great mentor because he would talk to me candidly about my strengths and as well as my weaknesses. Tim leads by establishing a personal relationship that drove me to learn and achieve my goals.

I work with a great team of people. I have contributed to this team by adjusting production systems to increase capacity, increase efficiency, and improve operator safety in production processes. I have accomplished this by relocating and acquiring new equipment, developing more effective communication and data processing methods, and creating new processes to replace higher cost alternatives. Most recently I was part of the team that relocated all production processes from a 255,000 square foot facility to a new 750,000 square foot facility where Airstream can expand enough to meet the market's increasing demand. My specific role was the planning and coordination of resources to relocate all large equipment over 5,000 lbs. I planned accounting to the provided schedule and then executed the plan without missing a deadline. To do this, I communicated with the maintenance manager daily to have equipment prepared, I worked with the rigging company to relocate equipment, I communicated with equipment OEM resources or their liaisons to be on site as equipment was placed where the layout dictated, and worked with the planning resources to have utilities available when equipment arrived for terminations to be made. Assisted in the fabrication, installation, and startup of an electrical control system for an textile reinforced rubber hose extrusion line. Created a production reporting system to capture production data. This data was retained in an Access database to create a production history. This history was analyzed to document historical issues and show financial justification for process improvement projects. Launched company's first 3D printer system to rapid prototype and fabricate small scale brackets and conceptual items to test functionality of designs prior to metal fabrication. Show less

Support a group of engineers and physicists to upgrade a high energy laser from a 40 terawatt peak power to a 400 Terawatt peak power for high energy density interaction research. Primary responsibilities include design and test optical mounts capable of micron precision motion in high vacuum environments for all 6 degrees of freedom. Also, prepare and install vacuum chambers, electrical support frames, and machine prototype mounts.
