      I have recently completed an infrastructure virtualisation project for Energy Power Resources - a Europe-wide renewable energy company with multiple sites throughout the UK and mainland Europe. This project involved commissioning a new datacentre based on vSphere 5.1, with a secondary DR-site. Having virtualised all of EPR’s core services, including Active Directory, Exchange and SQL, I have also implemented a VDI solution using Citrix.My day-to-day activities include management of the vSphere environment, including performance management, maintenance of VMs, network monitoring, bandwidth optimisation and total support of the Citrix virtual desktop service.I have good hands-on experience of HP servers and EMC storage. I am also very competent in Active Directory, LAN and WAN config and management, BES, SQL Server and computer hardware.
