  I led the technical team to provide technical and materials support to Morgan’s structural ceramics site at Stourport. I had responsibility for all technical projects, including scientific / material aspects of new product introduction, gross margin improvement and business continuity. The role further expanded into operational responsibility for the ceramic injection moulding cell, including the the delivery of a £2M NPI project for the site and a 30% increase in production. In addition, I played a key role in the design and implementation of Morgan's Global Centre of Excellence for Structural Ceramics. Show less

  Morgans Stourport site specialized in high volume manufacture of technical ceramics (alumina, silicon carbide, zirconia and silicon nitride) using many processes including pressing, spray drying, extrusion and ceramic injection moulding. Typical markets included: medical, industrial and analytical.As senior technologist I was responsible for a number of developments focussed on ceramic injection moulding, products for nuclear industry, and water filtration.
