  I worked on a design research project in Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust that focussed on improving privacy and infection control in hospital wards by redesigning the bedspace curtain system. The project was funded by the Guy's and St Thomas' Charity and I was employed by Brunel University London but I worked full time within St Thomas' Hospital. Since July 2020 I worked with clinical staff at the Trust to improve the curtain system by using a human centred approach of observing ward life and evaluating each major iteration of the prototypes in user evaluation sessions.
