Designed With You, Made for you. Warner Fencing and Gates have been designing, manufacturing and installing quality gates, fences and balustrades throughout New Zealand for more than 25 years. We specialise in residential and commercial solutions made for safety, security and street appeal. I’ve had the pleasure of leading the Warner team for more than 13 years. At the front end of the business: a group of highly motivated franchisees hand-picked for their ambition, attention to detail and intimate knowledge of the product and process. At the back end: a manufacturing operation that hangs its hat on quality and efficiency. We work with like-minded Kiwis who have a penchant for quality and individuality. This drives our ethos to not sell what we’ve got; but make what the customer wants. Bespoke solutions made to the measurements, conditions and aesthetic of their surroundings. This keeps us hungry for innovation and developing smart new products. I like to explore new ways of solving old problems. I’ve always had a knack for visualising how A and B can together make C. This has culminated in many of Warner’s proprietary designs—which my talented team (invariably) make better.

A family-owned business on a mission to build a digital-first global brand capturing local humour and global citizenship values. After moving back to New Zealand, I was approached by a director at Global Culture to come on board and help tidy up the business’ retail processes. At that time, Global Culture was producing clothing ranges and artworks targeting the tourist market. My key successes included stock control and inventory management, merchandising and the initial stages of Global Culture’s first online presence.

Building better for more than 40 years. In my early 30’s, I was leading a company turning over more than ten million dollars a year. I’m proud to have: ● Built a structure around financial control ● Developed the brand you see in market today ● Grown 12 franchises into 45 ● Nurtured relationships with leading hardware stores (including securing 100% of Bunnings’ work across Australia in my first year) ● Leading a team of 100 staff ● Relocated to a purpose-built building made under my leadership

Producers of essential dairy consumables and rubber footwear. Skellerup Red Band gumboots are a true New Zealand icon – tough, tried and tested. Having grown up on a farm, I’ve always had an interest in rural business and people. My role at Skellerup really centred around our customers—understanding what they were trying to achieve as individuals, and getting our team aligned with those goals.
