  Accountable for the achievement of income of a portfolio consisting of two Relay For Life community events netting approximately $425,000 annually. Recruit, train and cultivate relationships with community members in event volunteer leadership positions to ensure successful event execution in terms of participation, fundraising and mission education. Engage the community in the Relay For Life event to drive increased event participation across all levels including event committee, teams, sponsors, survivors, caregivers and youth engagement totaling over 2,000 participants annually. Collaborate with Corporate & Distinguished Partners as well as Health Systems staff of the American Cancer Society to maximize event success by leveraging opportunities to engage constituents from corporate, distinguished partners and health systems through event sponsorship and participation as well as mission programs and services in the community. Utilize available tools to maximize event results including online fundraising and data collection and entry. Respond to customer satisfaction survey for comparative event and success factors data for sustainable growth of events. Educate the community on the American Cancer Society and the local and national mission programs available to Survivors as well as current research and clinical trials available to them. Show less
