Tiffany spearheaded initiatives to on-board new data sets and she contributed to every aspect of these projects, from conceptual modeling to ETL design to quality controls. Tiffany’s contributions went well beyond her data analysis and ETL subject matter expertise. She also served as the face of IT in our San Jose office (the bulk of the team was located in NY): liaising with staff, troubleshooting an array of technical issues, serving as a vital communication channel. When she transitioned away from the engineering department in order to take a leadership role running our Asia operations it was a big loss for my team, but it was a natural progression in terms of increased value to the business. Tiffany’s ability to leverage the keen analytic skills she had honed while studying and designing data systems, coupled with her impeccable sense of commitment, made her a natural Director and Operations manager.
