As part of the Agile production team, my focus was to deliver a responsive UI re-design of the RMIT public facing website - meeting the strict AA+ accessibility standard. Working with the UX designers our team worked to deliver a very large and complex portal from a legacy desktop only GUI design - producing pixelperfect visual wireframes, digital assets, re-usable patterns & asset libraries. Technology Specialist – Webcontrol\Telstra Operations\Media\Media Management Telstra 2010 to 2012, in a nutshell: within my role as a platform manager at Telstra, I was responsible for a multi-interfaced product platform that was all device and client compliant/compatible. I managed the infrastructure, the solution architecture, the firewall and DNS solution, the security architecture and certain modules of content that sat within the Telstra billing framework. Telstra 2001 to 2010, Web control: the Web control team was one of the only hands-on design & development teams within Telstra. We were a complete in-house designer/developer and production team, looking after and developing for a total of 125,000 pages sitting under the Telstra.com and Telstra.com.au Internet and Intranet portals. Throughout those many years, I was lucky enough to be one of the four key developers and SMEs responsible for the upgrade and redevelopment of the Telstra.com and Telstra.com.au online presence. This meant that I had to be Agile and ready to hit the ground running with every technology upgrade, which comprised of ColdFusion to JSP to XML to .net, and .net to JSP. My extensive skills in graphic design meant that I also became the key designer & developer of all the Telstra Graphical assets used on all their top-tier websites. i.e. the Telstra home page, telstrawholesale, investor relations, My pre-paid online, MyAccount & Telstrasmartcommunities
