Tiffani successfully completed a practical 8-week project with Queensland Police Service (QPS) Gold Coast Cross Cultural Liaison Unit and The SARA Program as part of the Bond University Employability Lab program in early 2020. The project required Tiffani and five fellow students to recommend initiatives to raise awareness and provide education on domestic violence in the Chinese Community on the Gold Coast. The students conducted research on domestic violence initiatives being implemented across the country which helped guide them in their final recommendations presented to QPS and SARA. As a final deliverable for the project, Tiffani and her group were also responsible for implementing one of the recommended initiatives which they did so successfully. As a participant on this project, Tiffani was a valuable contributor and enhanced her skills in communication, problem solving and teamwork.
