Ticco’s research and analytical skills — when applied to artificial intelligence in commercial contexts — were evident to his peers through his engaging style and ability to lead small-group discussions on this subject. This was a boon for others as it allowed him to also help his peers so that they could achieve success in absorbing very complex material. His working knowledge of AI is now broad and deep, and he is qualified to apply this in a variety of business contexts.

      Verolme is specialized in manufacturing high-end process equipment. Challenging new opportunities came up in the maritime industry, when IMO-2020 regulations limited Sulphur exhaust levels. Scrubbers were introduced and Verolme started producing high-end, state of the art, marine scrubbers. Within a very short time period Verolme has executed several successful scrubber projects, such as the series of 12 scrubbers for Yara Marine, including auxiliary equipment such as spools and connecting and overboard piping. Nowadays, there are over 4000 marine scrubbers in use all over the world, one better build than the other. With the knowledge, tools and teams available, Verolme is able to perform any kind of welding and repair service to the mentioned scrubber equipment worldwide. A number of specialized and containerized workshops are positioned at strategic locations around the world (Antwerp/Rotterdam, China, Singapore and Houston).
