Tibyan was a fellow student and I feel that she was instrumental in my success. We were in a very intense summer class, which required a lot of time studying. Tibyan volunteered to help me by taking an hour out of her schedule each day to review the previous lessons and organize ourselves for exams. She did not know that I was recovering from a combat related traumatic brain injury and that I was studying as part of a vocational rehabilitation program. During this time, she became a good friend of mine, and I was very impressed with her intellect and life experiences. I started the class struggling, failing the first two exams, but with Tibyan's assistance, I completed the course with a B, and I continued on to graduate from North Carolina State University. Tibyan has one of the most incredible personalities of any person that I have ever met. She has a great sense of humor, and is always positive about everything. She is without a doubt a person that I would love to work with again, and would be an asset to any employer in the future. I am deeply indebted to her for helping and motivating me as a student.
