  As a CAD CAM Engineer, by working together with the global innovation team, I am designing the horseshoes with the expected specifications. If the product designs are approved, I am also designing the tools for serial production and I am preparing the documentations (drawings, specifications) and machining programs for the toolshop. The designs, documentations and CNC programs are made in Siemens NX CAD CAM solutions. The machining is happening at the toolshop department with two Hermle 5 axis machining centers, and with a Mori Seiki turning machine. If the tools are produced, I am involved in the testing process of the tools on the production line and I make the changes on the tools if it's necessary. Show less

  I was working in a position of CNC CAD/CAM programmer. The profile of the company was manufacturing individual parts mostly for the automotive industry and for custom production lines. The machining were made by 3 and 5 axis machines and the machining programs were made by Siemens NX CAM. I was using ProE for creating and modifying CAD models. I also took part in the quality control department processes. The measuring processes were made by Keyence optical measuring machine.

  I was starting to work as a CNC programmer during my studies to get more practical experience. Because I enjoyed to learn more practical things, I was working between 32 and 40 hours per week depending on the schedule of classes at the university.I learned to set the zero point on the machine, to clamp the material and the parts, to define the necessary tools for the machining, put the tools in the machine and measure the length of them, writing machining programs with G-code and the right parameters of the machining.I was working on a milling machine and on a turning machine as well with Fanuc (NCT) controller.
