Challenge Users with health issues are unwilling to share their concerns with others, they are also struggling in achieving health goals in a long term. Duties • Analyze competitive products Investigate social and health products that help to understand initial ideas of common health supports and socializing forms. • Conduct primary research to talk with potential users Carry out screen surveys, semi-structured interviews, hybrid card sorting, and concept testing to get in touch with potential users, and categorize target audiences from their health conditions and mindsets. • Generate new concepts and conduct testing on user groups Transit research insights into low-fi prototypes by conducting concept testing for target user groups. New concepts gained positive feedback and favors from participants. • Articulate research findings with stakeholders during weekly meetings Report work progress during weekly meetings, utilize 4 empathy maps to demonstrate users' mindsets and draw 2 future-state journey maps to simulate target users' experiences. Those discoveries boosted the thinking to explore reasonable designs for different user groups. Outcome Proposed a new peer support community function that allows more users with different mindsets to achieve health goals and join suitable mutual support groups. Show less
