Weems Design Studio is a custom software development company specializing in Web Application Development and Mobile Software for both the private and public sectors. Project Manager for a 10-person Scrum Team dedicated to defining, developing, and delivering a new HR platform (HR-GSS) to manage employees from recruitment to retirement. Transitioned to Enterprise Performance Management Application (EPMA) team in May 2020 tasked with developing a tool to monitor performance management activities for all USDA employees. • Participate in Sprint Events as a member of the Scrum Team. Events included daily scrum meetings, sprint grooming sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, etc. • Collaborate with Product Owners to translate user stories into cards for the product backlog and assist in prioritizing sprint planning and grooming. • Work with product owners and development team members to ensure mutual understanding of sprint goals, objectives, and tasks. • Collaborate with the development team members to gain clarity on user stories and cards during sprints. • Review sprint work product for defects and new features to align with the Product Owner's acceptance criteria. • Produce user guides and recorded videos with step-by-step instructions on utilizing the system as well as updated all documentation as new features were deployed. User guides and videos created using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SnagIt, and Camtasia via Django CMS. Show less
