Tia is task driven and works hard to accomplish her goals. She is also a great pleasure to work with. Tia is someone that I would always be happy to have on my team.

In the time I have known Tia I have been impressed with her inquisitive nature. Tia is relatively new to the working world and to the pharmaceutical field, but has a drive to pick up knowledge. She strives to not only to learn the aspects of performing her job as an analyst, but outside of her defined role to improve on a broader basis. This quest for knowledge will lead to larger roles and responsibilities in her career at Corium and anywhere she finds herself. Always professional, polite, and easy to work with. Tia is an asset to Corium's Quality Control group.

Support Manufacturing and Packaging Operations through improvement projects and the investigation and documentation of deviations. Deviations may be related to Operations (manufacturing, packaging, and facilities related deviations), and supplier raw material and component deviations. Work to build collaboration between groups and create vision of common goals. Lead Lean Sigma Green Belt project for reducing changeover times in the Tablet Compression department. The project resulted in $180,000 annual savings from major changeovers (or an 26% reduction in time) and $36,000 annual savings from minor changeovers (or an 8% reduction in time). o Project related purchases totaled $31,300, resulting in an immediate return on investment.o Primary project work focused on key behaviors within the changeover process.o Compression Personnel were empowered to share suggestions and influence decisions on the final tool designs and manner in which the changeovers were performed. Team included hourly Operators through Management. • Reduced vision system related deviations by 47% from 2014 to 2016 by leading a cross functional PPT (Project Plan Team) to improve the systems around Packaging Optel vision systems.• Led two Always Quality teams (composed of hourly Operators from the Manufacturing Department). o Team 1 created Right First Time (RFT) training materials for Compression personnel (lowest RFT in Manufacturing).o Team 2 utilized Lean Sigma tools to drive down into the root cause of common errors. This resulted in the creation of an A3 Behavior Model for Change Management. The Behavior Model was presented to the site leadership team with the primary goal to set the expectations for each group when a change will occur and applies to all Operations support groups. The model has been successfully used at a site-wide level to implement a new form reconciliation policy (Document Control) and site renovations/captive shoe policy (Engineering). Show less
